CLIENT'S OBJECTIVES
    Transportation engineering services to support the expansion of the Mall of New Hampshire.
THE FACTS
    When the Wells Park Group, formerly New England Development, decided to expand the Mall of New Hampshire from 460,000 square feet to almost one million square feet, they retained CLD to provide all transportation engineering services.

    Due to minimum vertical clearance, the bridge over I-293 was widened adjacent to the northbound lanes to obtain sufficient width for an additional southbound lane.
THE RESULTS
    CLD provided traffic engineering for impact studies and signal design; highway engineering for preliminary and final design of intersection improvements and roadway widening; bridge engineering for the widening of the South Willow Street bridge over I-293; construction administration of all off-site improvements; and survey services during design and construction.
