MDOT Selects CLD for 2-Year Bridge Design Contract
CLD Consulting Engineers, Inc. of Manchester, NH - August 10, 2001 - The Maine Department of Transportation (MDOT) has awarded CLD Consulting Engineers, Inc. (CLD) of York, Maine a General Consultant Agreement for Bridge Design Services. Assignments under this contract range from bridge type studies to design and construction documents and construction review services. This recent selection is the fourth such contract between the MDOT and CLD, and it follows a lengthy qualifications-based selection from a large field of competing firms. CLD recently completed several bridge projects in Biddeford, Berwick, Saco, Westbrook, and Jonesport under their most recent contract. They have worked closely with MDOT in the past on these successful projects, and look forward to the new challenges ahead. CLD Consulting Engineers, Inc. is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, providing a wide variety of services which include: transportation/traffic, survey, site design, water, wastewater, structural, permitting, construction, and environmental engineering. In addition to the offices in Manchester, NH and York, ME, CLD also has a branch office in Norwich, VT.
